1. It gives us great pleasure to inform you that the following teachers from BASE were invited by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board and Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), to train the teachers of Pre-University colleges at Bangalore. In all 50 teachers from different districts attended the program.
Dr H N Subrahmanya, conducted the training in Physics on stars and Life cycle of stars and Prof
S Dasharathi conducted the training on 'Electron Microscope'.
Our teachers being invited to train other teachers is a recognition of their capability.
2. At the invitation of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, BASE is conducting CET training for the Pre-University students of the college.
3. Our Foundation-IIT student Abhishek Adiga has been selected for the JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths). JENESYS is funded by Government of Japan (USD 315m) for 5 years starting 2007. The objective is to promote knowledge about Japan amongst students of other countries. The trip consisting of 50 students from all India (out of which 7 are from Karnataka) will be visiting various places in Japan for 2 weeks.
4. BASE Congratulates Abhishek on his achievement. We are sure that he will achieving many more laurels.

To help students of II PU and Class XII(CBSE/ISC) to prepare for CET - 2010 , BASE has launched the Excel CET Intensive training program. The classes for the same will be conducted from 1st April 2010. The classes will be conducted at BASE centres at Basavanagudi, Rajajinagar, Jeevanbimanagar and Yelahanka.
b. II PU + CET 2010-11:
Admissions are open for the II PU + CET for the year 2010-11. Classes will be conducted at Basavanagudi, Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram, Jeevanbimanagar, JP Nagar, Marathahalli and Yelahanka
c. Foundation-SnT:
BASE announces admission to 2 year Foundation program for students entering class 9 during 2010. The program has been strengthened with the addition of Biology and the program is now aligned to the curriculum of various boards. The classes commence in April 2010 and will be conducted at Basavanagudi, Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram, Jeevanbimanagar, JP Nagar, Yelahanka and Marathahalli
