About N-Skill Summer

The N Skill summer program is an innovative, intensive, activity-based program for students who have completed/appeared in the final examinations of Classes V-VIII. The duration of the program is for 15 days/ 3 weeks. Sessions will be held 3 hours every day.

N Skill Summer is an innovative program that helps children develop essential skills to face challenges and face a wide range of situations. It is designed to give students fun away from school and utilise the summer days effectively by enjoying the life-skills training sessions.

Some of the features of the N Skill summer program are:

It is designed to instil life skills, creative competencies       and hands-on experiential learning in children.

It aims at enjoyment through participation for each       student in well-defined activities that will enable their       behavioural learning in the formative stages.

It extends learning from conventional teaching to       experiential real-life situations.

It exposes students to all-round personality       development.

Who can enrol?

The Program is meant for students who have completed/ appeared in the final examinations of classes 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th. Students of Classes 5 and 6 will be combined to form the 'Juniors' group and students of Classes 7 and 8 will be combined to form the 'Seniors' group.

Classes will be held Monday to Friday every week for 3 weeks (15 days) between 9 AM and 12 Noon in the centres.

The timings can be modified by the individual centres, depending upon such factors like availability of classrooms etc.

Batch Strength

30 students maximum (30 students in a Junior Batch and 30 student in a Senior Batch). There must be a minimum enrolment of 15 students in the Junior and Senior batches individually, below which the program will not be conducted. This is essential to ensure the effectiveness of the scheduled activities and enjoyment of the students.

Basavanagudi (Venue – Mahila Seva Samaja, next to       Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre),

Rajajinagar (Venue – BASE centre),

Malleswaram (Venue - BASE centre),

Indiranagar (Venue – BASE centre),

Koramangala (Venue – BASE centre at PNS School),

J P Nagar (Venue - VET College, J P Nagar 2nd Phase),

Yelahanka (Venue – MEC School).

The Summer Program in these centres will be conducted subject to the enrolment of minimum 15 students as stated above in Clause 5.

Fees

The fee per student for the N Skill summer program (Junior and Senior groups) is Rupees 3800.00



Please Note: The schedule for N Skill Summer, Discover Summer and Outbound Camp has been framed in such a way that a student can opt for either any one, or any two or all three programs.

Facilitators

The classes can be conducted only by facilitators approved by Learning Innovations. They will be employees of Learning Innovations who are on the Learning Innovations N Skill panel and have been trained by Learning Innovations.
